NATIONAL HOSPITAL
Fire Alarm System Upgrade of a Gent Honeywell System in a live hospital environment working in the capacity of principle contractor. This site was hugely challenging working around wards, consultants and theatres (‘clean’ areas). The project required a full validation of the system to ensure a carefully programmed changeover. The scope included design, supply, installation, commissioning and reprogramming and demonstrating C&E. Asbestos management was critical to project delivery and coordination with asbestos consultants was necessary throughout the project. Tri Management implemented the use of Sen-Tri for the project to ensure every alarm on the system was received in real time and therefore carefully managed by the site team and the UCLH fire officer without disruption.
